Park Ji Sung came to Old Trafford back in 2005 from PSV Eindhoven. Park caught the eyes of football lovers after back to back excellent performances for South Korea in World Cup 2002. Many believed that it was more a commercial signing that was purely made to capture Asian Market through selling Club’s Merchandise. That impression lasted in minds of many for a long long time and still there are those who think that way. Fans had solid doubts whether Park has that quality to play for the top European club but recent runs have spilled water on such doubts. The Manager has always shown faith in him and started with him in the toughest fixtures and one must be very neutral in saying that he has live up to the expectations.

A goal in his first start against Wolves followed by a Champions League debut goal against Bursaspor has brought Bebe into the limelight. As the golden trio of United are growing older and older yet we could only see them improving all the time. The legendary stars are being chased by UAE top clubs. It has been reported that the evergreen star, Ryan Giggs is set to be offered a staggering £200,000 a week to finish his career in the Middle East. Fellow veterans Paul Scholes and Gary Neville are also not far behind and can also expect mega deals from top Dubai clubs. The super rich top outfits in the UAE League, including David O’Leary’s Al Ahli, have already discussed plans to sign the trio next summer.

Just when most of the United supporters started to think that Rooney would end at up at the Eastlands, all of sudden the saga took a U-turn when Rooney signed a new 5-year contract for the Red Devils shattering the dreams of millions.

Wayne Rooney after resolving his careers doubt at the Old Trafford has sustained an ankle injury. The English International was removed from the training ground on Tuesday, Rooney picked up this injury at Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League last season.

Mourinho pips Ferguson for Die Mannschaft’s rising star

Tiago Manuel Dias Ferreira, commonly referred to as ‘Bebe’, was a complete stranger to the world about five months ago. This completely changed on Wednesday evening though, when Premier League powerhouse Manchester United announced on their official website that they’d secured the services of the 20-year-old attacker for an undisclosed fee.

Manchester United have splashed £7.4m to sign Bebe, a low profile 20-year-old striker from the Portuguese club Vitória de Guimarães. The deal was finalised today, with the player becoming the eighth senior striker on the club’s books.
