Campbell joins Newcastle


Newcastle United have finalised the signing of veteran defender Sol Campbell on a one-year contract. Campbell’s short-term deal at Arsenal expired at the end of last season and he had been attracting interest from several clubs. He held talks with Newcastle’s fierce rivals Sunderland and was also considering a move to Celtic. However, Campbell has opted to link up with the Magpies and has expressed his delight at securing a move to St James’ Park.

The Vuvuzela bans


A review of all the clubs who have banned, allowed or ignored the Vuvuzelas.

Tottenham were the first of the Premiership clubs to ban the noisy horns, after consulting with the police over the public safety, many in the Premiership have followed banning the horns in their stadiums.
