Zinedine Zidane’s feud with Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi continues.

Zidane has reportedly denied making peace with Materazzi before Real Madrid‘s match against Milan on Wednesday night.

Gazzetta dello Sport claims Zidane will now deny making up with Materazzi, intimating that he thought the latter was a fan and didn’t recognise him.
Materazzi has since said: “There certainly wasn’t any embrace with Zidane.”

Zidane and Materazzi friends again

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has worked another miracle – ending the feud between Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materazzi. Zidane and Materazzi confronted each other at Real’s team hotel this week as Inter Milan players visited their old coach.

The pair greeted each other and then started speaking. In the end, peace was the outcome of their meeting.

Marca says “There was a conclusion of peace, the scene ended with an affectionate hug, the past has been forgotten.”
