Tottenham suffer their second loss of the week after losing 1-0 to rejuvenated West Ham United thanks to a Frederic Piquionne goal in the London derby. This was the first win for West Ham of the new season which lifts them to 19th in the table, while Tottenham slip to 7th.

Former Arsenal captain William Gallas has reportedly agreed terms with their rivals Tottenham Hotspurs and will undergo a medical at Tottenham today ahead of a free transfer move to White Hart Lane on a one-year deal.
