December distress for managers

The month of December is a very busy one in the world of football. A lot of things happen in this festive period. For players playing their football in England, the matches start to come thick and fast. This is the time when the league table starts to show it’s real colours. Clubs prepare to single out players to sign in the next month’s transfer window while players who want a way out of their club start their media campaign, for instance Tevez these days. Blackburn Rovers vs. Arsenal (Match Highlights and Analysis)

Arsenal arrived Ewood Park to play their third fixture of the 2010 – 2011 campaign. Arsenal started with Robin Van Persie, Andrei Ashavin and Theo Walcott  who proved to be the real threat for Blackburn defense. From the first half Arsenal proved to be the stronger side as their forwards kept sneaking into the Blackburn box over and over again. Andrei Arshavin warned the rovers before the fixture as Arsenal side couldn’t forget their last year’s defeat. However Arsenal wasn’t the only side who made their opponent uncomfortable at times, Blackburn also made Arsenal defense work.
