Wenger confident over Cesc stay beyond 2011

According to Arsene Wenger, Cesc Fabregas has too much love for the club[Arsenal] to leave else he would have left a season ago. The 61 year old is optimistic about the fact that Barcelona is just an attraction, and their captain would give another go for the much needed trophy before going to Barcelona.

Wenger is determined that the 23-year-old will not get carried away with the much created hype by the Spanish side.

“He is from Barcelona and has an attraction to where he grew up.”, Arsenal Manager told the club’s stakeholders at AGM.

“At the end of the day, I believe he wants to win with this club. For how long I don’t know but hopefully for many, many years. I’m not pessimistic. I’m confident we will keep him for a few more years.”

He further added,”He deeply loves this club, believe me…if he did not love the club, he would have gone.”

There are many players who would rather prefer the name than the game but in the end most of them are not contended with the decision they made. In this case, the decision is yet to be made so we’ll just have to sit back and watch the show.
