Robinho eyes Milan-Barca final

Robinho believes AC Milan and Barcelona are now the two strongest sides in Europe after the Rossoneri‘s summer spending.

robinhopress20100831_412x232

Robinho, who had been strongly linked with a move to Barca before leaving Manchester City, now feels Milan are a match for the 2009 European champions and is hoping to meet them in this season’s final at Wembley.

"I dream of a final between Milan and Barcelona," he said. "At the moment, they are the strongest teams. We have such a strong side and in attack we’re amazing.

"Milan made some huge buys and on paper we are very strong. We are deadly on paper, but now we have to be like that on the pitch.

"It’s true that Barcelona were asking for me. With Milan, we understood each other right away and I feel at home, thanks in part to the many Brazilians who are already here."

Milan have been drawn against Robinho’s former team Real Madrid in the group stage of the competition and, given the nature of his departure from the club, he is expecting to face some unhappy supporters.

"I know I won’t get a good reception from the fans at the Bernabeu, but I’ll definitely celebrate if I score in Madrid," he said. "I won at Real, but it would be wonderful for me to beat Jose Mourinho’s team while wearing the Rossoneri jersey.

"I don’t want to talk about City. I just focus on enriching my victories with Milan. I am not looking for any particular personal vendettas. I just want to get back to winning with a team."

Emmanuel Adebayor: Manchester City Now Bigger Than Arsenal

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has taunted that his current club is ‘bigger than Arsenal’.
The 26-year-old hitman spent three seasons at the Emirates before departing for Eastlands in 2009 and believes The Citizens will be on top of Arsenal by the end of this season.

The Togo international has dropped down the pecking order at Eastlands and was reportedly seeking an exit from the club, with manager Roberto Mancini preferring Carlos Tevez in a lone strikers role.
However, Adebayor was selected in Roberto Mancini’s 25-man Premier League squad and has boasted that with the calibre of players on show at Eastlands, Manchester City are a bigger club than Arsenal with the striker admitting: "Yeah, it does feel like that."
"With the great new players we’ve got we have a wonderful chance to make history," Adebayor was quoted as saying on Sky Sports.

"But it’s all about results. If we can win ten games in a row, people will class Manchester City as bigger than Arsenal," he concluded.

Ibra’s Price Reduced by Adriano Galliani : FUNNY

This is How he did it .

Adriano-Galliani_1938879

Galliani: “How much for the big guy?”
Rosell: “70”
Galliani: “Last price?”
Rosell: “50”
Galliani: “I’ll give you 5”
Rosell: “No, last price 45, and like that I’m already losing compared to how much he cost me”
Galliani: “I can go up to 10, but that’s it”
Rosell: ” Ummm …. No? 40?”
(Galliani walks away)
(Rosell chases him with ‘the big guy’ in his hand and shoves ‘it’ in his hand)
Rosell: “Ok, ok, 30 — but just for you!”
Galliani: “25”
(Galliani waves the cash infront of Rosell)
(Rosell’s eyes widen and sparkle as he starts dreaming of all he can do with the monies — but then reverts to a a big frown)
Rosell: “Fine, 25, here you go…”
(Rosell hands over ‘the big guy’ and takes the money and counts it)
Rosell: “Mister, Mister! There’s only 24 here!!”
Galliani: “Sorry, that’s all I had on me”
Rosell: “Oh, ok… well.. please come again and I make you another great deal. Oh… and tell your friends!!”

Fabregas: Arsenal made my transfer impossible

Cesc Fabregas is once again taking the spotlight regarding his busy summer and the Barca transfer rumors. In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Publico, Cesc does not hide his intention to be blaugrana next season.

timthumb.php

“Barca did everything possible to sign me, but Arsenal told me that I had to stay, and that I would not be sold.”

The midfielder stated that there is “a very long year to come” but on top of that “[we should] be professional and give everything.” He still did not close the doors on his Barça transfer.

“I do not think in something else because thinking about the future would lead to mistreating the present and I would have a bad season,” he said.

Surprisingly, Cesc launched a message to all who think he can’t play with the two Balon d’or candidates Xavi & Iniesta.

“They do their jobs very well, so it is very difficult to bring in something different. We can play together [all three]. We are not equal, but we understand football in the same way.”

Then he reminded, “We have been educated how to play football in the same way.”

From London, Cesc will be following everything that happens in the Spanish League and he predicted “the league will be between FC Barcelona and Madrid, which could be decided in the two ‘Clasico’ matches.”
