Arsenal put £50m price-tag on Fabregas

Sixty million Euros or shut it, that’s Arsenal’s ultimatum to Barcelona over Cesc Fabregas. Spanish radio station Ona FM says that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is now willing to contemplate the transfer of his club captain but only for €60m [£50m], €10m more than the maximum Barcelona have said they would be prepared to pay for the 23-year-old Fabregas.

The radio stations claims Wenger is determined to see if the Catalans are all mouth and no trousers and to that end has finally agreed to meet Barca president Sandro Rossel in London over the coming days to discuss the sale of the player.
