Cristiano Ronaldo wants his number 7 shirt back

Ronaldo’s love for the number 7 shirt has not ended yet as he eyes Raul’s shirt. Raul is sensationally expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer this summer, and Ronaldo has once again set his sights on the NUMBER 7 SHIRT.

Despite being happy being Galactico’s number 9, Cristiano Ronaldo is unwilling to hide his desire and affection for the number 7. He had an emotional attachment with the number as he called himself CR7 and also included the number 7 in his signature. Ronaldo’s CR7 brand is registered in England, Portugal and Spain and the player’s minders will be keen to capitalize should Raul leave.

The former Manchester United star wore number 7 shirt during his stay at the Old Trafford and certainly did justice to it as the shirt was vacated by the United star man David Beckham. The same story repeated when Luis Figo decided to hang up his boots, when he retired from the national side, vacating the number 7 shirt along with the Captain’s arm band for Ronaldo. Ronaldo knows what it takes to bear the pressure of wearing the legendary status number 7 shirt that had been worn by many football greats.
