Arsenal out of Title Race

After getting beaten by Manchester United and Chelsea, Arsenal have certainly lost the title race.

Wenger losing

Arsenal were set on the clash with Aston Villa, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all in a row and the month had been considered as the decisive month for Arsenal as far as title was concerned, but Wenger’s side couldn’t really make it through. They were held by Aston Villa, lost to Manchester United by 3-1 and now disgusted by Chelsea 2-0.

Arsenal are now 9 points behind Chelsea who are currently at the top of the table but the Gunners will not be able to chase Chelsea even if they manage to beat Liverpool in the midweek fixture.

The Gunners started this season brilliantly thrashing Everton by 6 goals to 1 but lost their consistency since they were beaten by Manchester City. This season Arsenal have managed to win only one game against the other big three and after losing to Chelsea tonight, they are certainly out of the title race.

Arsenal haven’t won any trophy since 2004-2005 season and are seemed to be out of the title chase this season too. After already been eliminated from FA and Carling Cup, Arsenal now can only look for Champions League glory this season.
